Ultramount 4 is a high-quality mounting medium designed for embedding and coverslipping of histology slides, including use with automated coverslipping machines. Its fast-drying formulation ensures slides are touch-dry within 10 minutes and ready for filing within 24 hours, making it ideal for routine laboratory workflows.

Ultramount 4 is available in 100 mL and 500 mL applicator bottles as well as 500 mL Plastic bottles, providing flexibility for both small-scale and high-throughput laboratory use.

The mountants contain Colorfast additives that prevent fading of cellular colors over time, ensuring long-lasting slide quality. For laboratories sensitive to strong solvents, Safety Mount is available, formulated with Histolene to eliminate xylene odors in the workspace.
