Histoacryl® Tissue Adhesive is a sterile surgical skin adhesive containing monomeric n-butyl-2-cyanoacrylate, which rapidly polymerises when it comes into contact with tissue fluid. It provides fast and effective wound closure without the need for conventional sutures or staples.
Histoacryl® is available in translucent and blue formulations. The translucent option is particularly suitable for facial applications where a discreet appearance is preferred, while the blue formulation provides enhanced visibility, helping clinicians monitor the amount and distribution of adhesive applied.
