Muraban Laboratories Gram’s Carbol Fuchsin Stain is a laboratory staining reagent used as a primary stain in microbiology and histopathology workflows. It is particularly suitable for acid-fast staining procedures, including Ziehl–Neelsen methods, where it is used for the demonstration of acid-fast organisms in clinical specimens and tissue sections.

The stain produces a strong red/magenta colouration of acid-fast organisms, allowing them to be differentiated from surrounding tissue or other material following the appropriate decolourisation and counterstaining steps.
