Ethilon® 5-0 Black Suture is a sterile, non-absorbable monofilament surgical suture composed of long-chain aliphatic polyamide polymers (Nylon 6 and Nylon 6,6). The black colour provides enhanced visibility during surgical procedures.
Ethilon® sutures are designed for general soft tissue approximation and/or ligation, including use in cardiovascular, ophthalmic and neurological procedures where a non-absorbable monofilament suture is required.
